Kurnool to be a model dwelling zone
Kurnool: Deputy Chief Minister K.E. Krishna Murthy promises to develop Kurnool city as beautiful and model dwelling zone in Andhra Pradesh.
He said that the government has committed to making this one a smart city by sanctioning crores of rupees including central funds towards development, he added.
The deputy CM participated in launching a couple of new initiatives worth Rs 1.88 crores developmental activities in the city on Wednesday.
He inaugurated a open Gym center constructed with Rs 10 lakh in KMC park of Ramalingeswarareddy Nagar and also opened Rs 69.50 lakh worth CC roads, Central lighting systems at Sitharam Nagar. Later, the deputy CM laid the foundation stone for the beautification works at both Vanijya nagar park and Rajiv nagar park estimated at Rs1.08 crores in the city. He also participated in tree plantation program. The Kurnool city would turn model area than others, he said and he added that the KMC has planning to facilitate walking tracks, open gyms and yoga spots.
