She said that Bihar RJD MLA Raj Ballabh Yadav, out on bail, can kill me and my family anytime'.

Patna: The 15-year-old girl who was raped by Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLA Raj Ballabh Yadav, sent frantic Whatsapp messages to journalists and others hoping to reach Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Yadav was granted bail by the Patna High Court last weekend, which caused the girl to panic.

"He is out of jail... I am scared and afraid for my family. What will happen to them? I am already dead after what happened to me. I have nothing more to lose," she wrote in the message, according to reports.

She said that Yadav can ‘kill me and my family anytime’ adding that even the police were afraid of him.

The girl, who has cleared her Class 10 exams, was allegedly raped by Yadav at his residence in Biharsharif on February 6, this year.

The Nitish Kumar government on Wednesday moved the Supreme Court challenging the bail granted to suspended RJD MLA Raj Ballabh Yadav by the Patna High Court in the rape case of a minor girl.

A bench of justices A R Dave and L Nageswara Rao agreed to list the appeal of Bihar government for hearing on Friday as it was prayed there was an urgency in it.

Bihar government counsel Gopal Singh said that Patna High Court has erred in granting bail to Yadav in a heinous case like this.

After evading arrest for considerable time he surrendered after a local court issues proclamation notice and an order to attach his properties for not surrendering before the police.

The Bihar Police, in its charge sheet has also named a woman and her relatives as accused on the ground that they have been supplying women and girls to the RJD MLA representing Nawada Assembly constituency.

The RJD suspended Yadav from the party on February 14, a day after his arrest warrant was issued.

The grant of bail to Yadav created a furore in the state as opposition parties led by BJP accused the Nitish government of facilitating the relief to him.
