Case against Telangana government water board official

The CBI said he has assets worth Rs 42.3 lakh including a two storied building and a plot in Hayatnagar.

Hyderabad: The CBI has registered a disproportionate assets case against Central Ground Water Board assistant executive engineer Dandebyina Obuleshu.

Obulesu is currently rigger drilling in-charge for Telangana and is alleged to have shown favours to contractors by not fully implementing contract terms from 2009 to 2016. The CBI said he has assets worth Rs 42.3 lakh including a two storied building and a plot in Hayatnagar.

The CBI booked another case regarding irregularities at the Humayunagar sub PO that took place after demonetisation. The CBI alleged that postal officials A. Srinivas and deputy sub postmaster U. Rajyalaxmi misappropriated Rs 15.63 lakh and Rs 11.64 lakh by producing forged documents. The CBI said they exchanged their friends old notes for new notes.
