Nellore: Union minister for urban development housing and poverty alleviation and Information broadcasting Mr M. Venkaih Naidu said that service to man is service to God. He gets ultimate satisfaction in serving people than doing service as a Minister.
He said he has no wealth and “all his wealth and health” are his friends. He thanked his gurus in shaping his character during primary stages of his life. He said without discipline in one’s life he/she cant make progress in life.
The Minister along with Swarna Bharat trust members headed by his daughter Deepa Venkat felicitated Silver Medallist in Olympics P.V. Sindhu and badminaton coach Pullela Gopichand on the occasion. He wished that Gopichand would produce thousands of Sindhus.
“He is best teacher, he and his family tonsured at Tirumala for India bagging Silver and it shows his devotion towards the country. Sindhu is a Bindu (Symbol) for entire country. This time silver next time Gold,” Mr Naidu said amid cheers from the huge gathering.
“I am happy to take part in 15th anniversary of Swarna Bharat Trust. Nobody should forget their Guru, Parents and mother land and I came this far because of my Guru (Gopichand),” Ms Sindhu said assuring to do put all her efforts to bring laurels to the country.
