In letter to Kejriwal, MLA accuses AAP leaders of exploiting' women in Punjab
New Delhi: As the Aam Aadmi Party continues to fire-fight the damage caused by sex tapes of sacked minister Sandeep Kumar, fresh trouble is brewing for the Kejriwal camp as an MLA has now accused other AAP leaders of exploiting women in poll-bound Punjab in return for political favours.

According to reports, AAP MLA Devinder Sehrawat, has written a letter to party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, claiming that Punjab leaders were taking advantage of women by promising them election tickets in the state.
In the letter, he said that he received ‘disturbing reports’ of AAP leaders ‘exploiting women in return for election candidature’.
AAP has however rubbished his claims and said that Sehrawat has no proof to back up his allegations.

“I was perturbed by it all. There were talks about these things, there was spoken information and there was information in the public domain and on social media. This is a sensitive matter and it is about things that are exploitative in nature. In such a scenario, it’s not possible to get evidence right away. But I was alarmed and I have done my duty by pointing it out, whether or not anybody finds it palatable,” Sehrawat told The Indian Express.
Sehrawat’s statements only add to AAP’s endless woes - the party had to face a lot of political heat and embarrassment last week after a ‘sex sting’ of Sandeep Kumar surface in the media. The sacked leader was booked on charges of rape on Saturday.
Following the sex scandal, Kejriwal had asserted that he will prefer to die than stray from AAP's principles, adding the same rule will apply to himself and all other senior leaders.
