Telangana: Teacher held for cutting trees in school
The forest department will also ask the education department to suspend the teacher who is pending investigation.
Hyderabad: A government teacher in Turkapally village of Yadadri district allegedly cut down trees in the school premises, and displayed the timber for sale in the school.
Forest officer Shahini said, “The trees were cut down without the permission from the forest department which makes it illegal. We have ordered an inquiry against him as it is against the law. We will alert the higher officials about it.”
The forest department will also ask the education department to suspend the teacher who is pending investigation.
