'How can a person live in two bungalows?' Nitish Kumar rubbishes Opposition claims

The BJP had recently raised the issue of Nitish Kumar 'occupying two government residential bungalows' in Patna.

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday dismissed opposition’s claim that he is “occupying” two government residential bungalows, asking “how can a person live in two bungalows?”

“I do not have two residential government bungalows. As per the provision, I have been allotted a bungalow (7, Circular Road) for life in the capacity of being ex-CM. While another bungalow is allotted to me as the Chief Minister. I work from there,” he said.

“Facts are misrepresented, to show I am occupying two bungalows,” Kumar said, and asked, “How can a person live in two bungalows?”

BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi had recently raised the issue of Nitish Kumar “occupying two government residential bungalows” in the state capital.

“I am ready to work from any where…I can live in one room of the BJP office provided I get accommodation there,” he said. Nitish also suggested that people having their own residence in Patna should not be allotted government residence in the state capital.
