Bengaluru: An SSLC student committed suicide by hanging from a ceiling fan at his house in Venkatappa Layout in Girinagar police limits, reportedly due
to his failure in all the subjects in the recent final exam.
According to the police the deceased has been identified as Prajwan (14), a student of Hrishikesh Vidyapeeth in Hosakerehalli. He was staying with his brother Sharath (18), a driver. Their mother had abandoned them and their father died around three years ago.
The Police said that Prajwan hanged self from the ceiling on Friday and the incident came to light when Sharath returned from work in the evening.
