Pudukkottai: The Public Welfare Association of Road Accidents Prevention and Rescue and the Tiruchy Apollo specialty hospital jointly conducted an awareness programme on first aid during road accidents at the Government ITI Pudukkottai on Friday, under the presidentship of the ITI’s principal S. Ramar.
In a release here on Saturday, Association’s president Maruti. K . Mohanraj said that Dr. Annamalai Periyannan of the emergency cell of the Apollo specialty hospital explained to the ITI students on how to handle the accident victims. They also discussed how to respond to those who suffer cardiac arrest, snake bites, other poisonous animals and stray dogs.
