Ex-AP police batch helps deceased batchmate’s kin

The Rachakonda police commissioner Mahesh M. Bhagwat handed over a cheque to his family members on Saturday.

Hyderabad: The erstwhile Andhra Pradesh police batch of 2012 extended their support to the family of their fellow batchmate, sub-inspector K. Madhusudhan, who died in a road accident at Narketpally in March.

The Rachakonda police commissioner Mahesh M. Bhagwat handed over a cheque to his family members on Saturday.

The deceased sub-inspector was posted at Pochampally. On that unfateful day, he was on his way to Nalgonda where he had been posted as bandobast for/to the Police recruitment events. When he reached the Mahatma Gandhi University at Narketpally, the vehicle which he was travelling in went out of control and turned turtle. As a result, the sub-inspector died on the spot leaving his elder partner, wife, and two children alone.

His batchmates donated around Rs 12,00,000 to his family following his demise. They opened a fixed deposit worth Rs 4,00,000 in the name of his 6-year old daughter Durga and another fixed deposit worth Rs 6,00,000 in the name of his 4-year-old daughter Vaishnavi.
