An appreciable fall in the temperature at few places in Telangana has been recorded.
The decision has been opposed by a large number of parents, as they do not want their children to suffer in the summer with the temperature soaring every day.
Hyderabad: Telangana likely to receive light-to-moderate rains or thunder showers at some places in the next five days, a bulletin issued by the India Meteorological Department on Thursday said.
"Thunderstorm accompanied with squall/hail is very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, Khammam, Medak, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Mahbubnagar and Nalgonda districts of Telangana," the bulletin said.
There was an "appreciable" fall in maximum temperatures at one or two places in Telangana, the weatherman said, adding that they were above normal at a few places in the state.
The highest maximum temperature of 44 degree Celsius was recorded at Hanamakonda, it further said.
