Vijayawada: A social worker and actor lodged a complaint of alleged sexual harassment against YSRC leader Lakshmi Parvati, the wife of the late N.T. Rama Rao, with Vinukonda police of Guntur district on Thursday.
Mr B. Koti alias Anand Paul, a resident of Uppar-apalem of Vinukonda ma-ndal, told the police that he knew Ms Parvati for past four years. He used to run errands for her and mingled closely with her family.
He alleged that for the past 18 months, Ms Parvati had started sending WhattsApp messages saying she loved him and had sent links of porn websites and photos.
He alleged that Ms Par-vati had promised to prov-ide him a good post in YSRC through party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Re-ddy if he submitted to her.
Vinukonda circle inspector T. V. Srinivasa Rao said the police had received the complaint but would register a case after taking legal opinion and primary investigation.
Mr Koti stated that he treated Ms Parvati like his mother but she was sending incest videos to him which was disrupting his family life. He alleged that Ms Parvati had become angry with him because of his refusal to comply with her wishes and had warned him of dire consequences.
He asked the Vinukonda police to provide security to him and his family and initiate action against Ms Parvati for sexual harassment.
He handed over screenshots of chats with Ms Parvati and photos to the Vinukonda police.
