Hyderabad: Anxious parents and students called on their schools and colleges as the news of the results of the intermediate examination to be declared on April 8 made rounds on WhatsApp groups in the city.
The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) received calls wanting to know if the results would be given out early as exams were over only in the last week of March.
The order which was circulating in WhatsApp had the official logo of the TSBIE and the Government of Telangana and the signature of the retired controller of examinations. The TSBIE, in an official note, stated that they have not announced any date and the order which is circulating is fake.
