Andhra Pradesh revenue wing wows Kerala staff

Ms Sukla said that they implemented a pilot project at Jaggaiahpet for the Bhudar registration in time.

Vijayawada: Kerala State Planning Board vice-chairman V.K. Ramachandran on Thursday was all praise for the revenue department for digitalisation of land records and bringing transparency.

A three-member committee, led by Mr Ramachandran, visited the Vijayawada sub-collector’s office here to get first-hand knowledge of the process of digitalisation of land records at the village-level.

Joint Collector Krutika Sukla explained the implementation of online land records procedure in the district to the Kerala team. She informed them that the officials have computerised all the land details across the district with the support of the departments of revenue, land administration survey, agriculture, and forest.

She informed the Kerala team that they have digitalised records pertaining to 970 village panchayats in four divisions in the district to serve the public in transparent manner.

Ms Sukla said that they implemented a pilot project at Jaggaiahpet for the Bhudar registration in time, corrections and additions and then implemented it across the state.

She also explained to them about e-crop, which is using to register the details of the crop of a farmer, production and area details in the district.

Ms Sukla gave a PowerPoint presentation on the Web Land records, farmer names, area details, and the process of implementation in Krishna district.
