Vijayawada: TD MLA Dhulipalla Narendra, who is not happy with the Cabinet expansion, had met the panchayat raj and rural development minister and TD national general secretary Nara Lokesh and congratulated him on becoming a minister. Mr Lokesh told the MLA that though he had the eligibility to become a minister, his name could not be considered for the ministerial berth due to some some problems.
Mr Dhulipalla met Mr Lokesh on Tuesday at the Chief Minister’s residence in Undavalli and spoke for about an hour. Mr Lokesh also suggested that Mr Dhulipalla Narendra meet TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu, while appeasing him that TD wouldn’t forget his services and that there would be better opportunities in the future. Mr Lokesh told the MLA that the party would always recognise the services of committed leaders in strengthening the outfit.
