Thumbs up to language paper
Chennai: The state board examination got off to a smooth start on Friday with students finding the language paper easy.
According to invigilators and teachers, most students finished their paper before time. S. Kavya from St Marians Matriculation higher secondary school, who took French, said she is hoping to score above 90.
“There were eight sections in the French paper, I found translation, jumble sentence, true or false and dialogues to be easiest.”
M. Saranraj from National Matriculation higher secondary school who sat for Tamil paper said, “The Tamil paper was easy. It had 10 sections and I hope to score above 80. I finished half an hour before. Yesterday I just sat for 10 minutes to revise.”
N. Umayal, a teacher from National Matriculation School, said, “All the papers were easy. Most students finished it before 10 minutes. We are hoping that students will come out with flying colours.”
