Hyderabad: The Haj Committee of India has extended the last date for remittance of the first instalment for all provisionally selected pilgrims till February 15. Pilgrims have to pay Rs 81,000 as the first instalment.
Telangana State Haj Committee president Masihullah Khan said pilgrims would lose their seats if they failed to pay the amount before the stipulated date and those on the waiting lists would be accommodated.
The last date for payment of the second instalment of Rs 1.2 lakh is February 20, but it can be paid along with the first instalment. Applicants may remit the amount online or in the State Bank of India Ac. No 32175020010 FEE TYPE-25 or Union Bank of India A/c. No. 318702010406009 (Haj Account) in any branch having core banking system. The amount can also be paid online by e-payment on the website www.hajcommittee.gov.in
