People to shut the doors at BJP, N Chandrababu Naidu hits back
AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu hit back at BJP president Amit Shah’s comments that he was not welcome into the NDA by saying, “It is not that they will close the doors on me, the people are ready to close the doors on the BJP. I will not be scared of his threats.”
“Everyone knows who came to whom in 2014,” Mr Naidu told mediapersons when he was asked about Mr Shah’s comments in New Delhi. “The BJP president should know how to give respect and take respect”
“They will not be able to bear it if I open my mouth and talk facts. Instead of talking about what the BJP-led Centre has done to the state, Amit Shah is doing politics. This is the peak of high-handed behaviour. The BJP is spread false propaganda and miserable politics. If the Centre had released all the funds, Andhra Pradesh would have achieved more progress than what it has done now. ”
Mr Naidu said YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was trying to create rift between various castes. He said that during his 40 years in politics he had never done caste-based politics, but had always been in the forefront in doing social justice.
Earlier, Mr Naidu along with leaders of other Opposition parties met Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora and urged him to replace EVMs with paper ballots. Later he participated in a meeting held at NCP chief Sharad Pawar’s residence where he said the Opposition parties would chalk out an action plan to support West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
