Hyderabad: Nehru Zoological Park to have new facilities
The committee made several recommendations to the zoo authorities that are to be followed.

Hyderabad: The zoo advisory committee has decided to develop infrastructure at the Nehru Zoological Park at this second advisory meeting on Monday. The committee made several recommendations to the zoo authorities that are to be followed.
The committee has discussed diverting polluted water away from the zoo, infrastructure development, installation of CCTV cameras and improvement in visitor facilities. The committee suggested the inclusion of a few activities to educate visitors about the animals by introducing brochures, magazines and books. The committee also discussed the construction of a new plaza at the main entrance proposed by Tech Mahindra.
Later the committee members went around the zoo and appreciated its upkeep in all aspects.
