Infant Jesus Church, Viveknagar, a major Christian pilgrim centre of the city, marked the onset of its annual fest on Thursday.
Rector cum Parish Priest Fr Joseph Menezes said that beginning the feast on a special day dedicated to Infant Jesus added to the zeal.
The 10 day festivities will include a mass marriage session on Sunday apart from daily masses in various languages. “A Grand Car Procession will conclude the celebrations on January 14, led by Bangalore Archbishop Rev. Dr Bernard Moras. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has also confirmed his presence,” said Fr Alban Zeo George, Assistant Vicar.
