Court rejects Ghazal Srinivas bail plea
Hyderabad: The Nampally court has dismissed the bail petition and rejected the custody petition of Ghazal Srinivas after the hearing on Thursday. The police had earlier argued against him and appealed to the court not to grant bail to him as he can tamper with evidence if he comes out.
The Panjagutta police has arrested Srinivas based on a complaint lodged by a 29-year-old woman alleging that he had harassed her for the past two months.
The police officials has submitted the remand report with the names of the victim’s colleague R. Prakash, a video editor, M. Sailu, a fruits businessman and Kishan Rao, a businessman, as witnesses in the case.
Meanwhile, Parvathi, 32, who is working as a maid in the office of Srinivas and is the accused number 2 in the case, is at large.
