Hyderabad: A drunk police constable who created nuisance on the road was suspended by Hyderabad police commissioner Anjani Kumar.
Constable M. Eshwaraiah (PC 3407) of Falaknuma police was posted at a picket when he kicked up a ruckus on Monday night.
The commissioner also issued a charge memo to Falaknuma inspector K. Srinivasa Rao for his failure to check the constable’s misconduct.
Eashwaraiah was seen sitting in a rickshaw parked on the roadside and refused to leave. He was seen shouted and reportedly used abusive language at the locals when they asked him to leave the rickshaw.
In a video purportedly taken by the locals, Eshwaraiah is saying, “Who are you to question me.”
