Eramaina Murali was keen on Telangana government job

Kavitha, Murali's elder sister, said that he was a studious student who wanted a government job.

Hyderabad: Eramaina Murali, who is from a poor family, was keen on landing a government job after his studies. Kavitha, Murali’s elder sister, said that he was a studious student who wanted a government job.

His friends said that he always preferred to stay alone and was focussed on securing a government job. A few of his hostel mates claimed that he has been complaining of the delay in releasing the job notification by the state government.
Kavitha said after the death of their father, their elder brother was looking after the family, while Murali and the younger brother, Bhasker, continued their studies.
Kavitha, who stays in ECIL in the city, said that everyday her brother used to call her before going to sleep.

“Saturday also, he spoke to me and was normal. But he did not call me on Sunday. I thought that Sunday being a holiday, he would be taking rest or would be studying. Though we were financially poor, our mother starved and paid his fees. That’s how he came till here,” said Kavitha, adding that he was planning to visit the hometown after the examinations.

Mahesh, his friend, said that they would meet regularly, and Murali was struggling for money.

“On Saturday, he said that he had no money and borrowed Rs 50 from me. But I never expected that he was going through such a bad phase,” he said.

A senior in the physics department said that whenever Murali interacted with them, he was disappointed with delay in the job notification.
