BJP supports Pawan March, says Ravela Kishore Babu
Kakinada: While the Bharatiya Janata Party has expressed its support to the long march by Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan in Visakhapatnam, it, however, did not participate in the programme.
Clarifying this to reporters, BJP leader Ravela Kishore Babu maintained that as a national party, the BJP could not participate in a programme being organised by a regional party. He described the Jana Sena president as a corruption-free leader. But Pawan Kalyan lacked the ability to transform his appeal among people into votes, he remarked.
Ravela Kishore Babu regretted that Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is not taking any concrete steps to investigate the various scams that took place under the Telugu Desam regime. He said the AP chief minister has to take the initiative in this regard.
