Asaduddin Owaisi terms govt formation issue a quarrel of co-wives
Hyderabad: Taking potshots at the Shiv Sena and BJP for delaying the formation of government in Maharashtra, MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said, “How much 50:50 will they do? Is this a new biscuit.”
“I don’t know whether Fadnavis or someone else will become the Chief Minister. It seems Shiv Sena does not know what to do. It looks like Udhav Thackeray is afraid of Modi,” Mr Owaisi said at a public meeting here on Saturday. He said the Shiv Sena had no courage to leave BJP. “Our party’s stand is very clear. We will not support either Shiv Sena or the BJP to form government. Our party will vote against the coalition,” Mr Owaisi said.
He called it a game of musical chairs and a quarrel of co-wives. Mr Owaisi said he was astonished that the Congress and the NCP are luring the Shiv Sena.
He said, “Both the parties are not bothered about the destruction that rain has caused in Satara. Farmers are suffering as their crops are damaged.”
