Kakinada: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan on Saturday stressed on one third representation of women in legislations.
Interacting with self help groups at Gowri Kalyana Mandapam at Annavaram here on Saturday, Pawan assured the women’s groups that his party would stand up with the aspirations of SHGs and sanction loans irrespective of any political background. "I have lived with my sisters and I know their problems," he said.
The cine star-turned- politician Pawan addressed a public meeting at Kathipudi in Sankhavaram mandal here on Saturday evening. He expressed confidence that he would become chief minister after 2019 elections, adding that the people of Andhra Pradesh were supporting him. He said that new forces would emerge in the coming elections and the future would be for youth and women. He condemned Chief Minister N. Chandrababu saying that Mr Chandrababu Naidu had not taken into confidence the Jana Sena or the left parties for fighting for special category status.
