Hyderabad High Court dismisses petitions of eagle infra

Mr Y.V. Rama Rao, advocate told the court that one of the bidders has came forward to pay Rs 26 crore per month.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court has upheld the action of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority and the Hyderabad Growth Corridor Ltd fixing Rs 21.25 crore as a minimum bid price for the tenders invited to collect user charges at the toll gates on the Outer Ring Road.

Justice A.V. Sesha Sai was dismissing petitions filed by Indradeep Constructions Ltd and Eagle Infra Ltd challenging the action of the respondents inviting the bids for collection of toll charges on the ORR by fixing a minimum bid price.

Mr Y.V. Rama Rao, advocate appearing for the HMDA submitted Indradeep Constructions Ltd, earlier bagged the contract by paying Rs 18 crore and after expiry of the said contract, the HMDA issued fresh bids.

He told the court that one of the bidders has came forward to pay Rs 26 crore per month.
