Hyderabad: B. Supriya, a 17-year-old student of Sri Chaitanya College, Kukatpally, has been missing since 8.30 am on November 1st. Supriya left home on Wednesday for college but the college principal informed her parents that she had not attended clas-ses on that day.
Supriya’s father Pulla Reddy received a phone call by mid-afternoon following which he enquired about Supriya to her friends. On getting no clues, he filed a complaint at KPHB police station. The college authorities noticed her absence as there was a counselling session in the college for the first years on November 1 which was mandatory.
Police authorities say that Supriya was believed to be involved in a love affair with a student named Anirudh from the same college and he will be questioned soon.
Supriya was not carrying any mobile phone and her parents said that she had not exhibited any unusual behaviour during the past few days.
