Visakhapatnam: The world turned upside down for the TD leaders, educationalists and industrialists in Vizag on Wednesday morning. The news of the sudden demise of their beloved leader M.V.V.S. Murthi in a road accident in the USA came as a devastating blow.
A pal of gloom descended on the Waltair Uplands in Vizag city where the M.V.V.S. Murthi’s house was located. Several politicians of various political parties, industrialists, educationalists and few others visited the house and tributes poured in from all corners of the country.
Vizag South MLA and president of Visakha Urban of TD, Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar organised a condolence meeting at the party office on Wednesday where HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, MLAs Panchakarla Ramesh Babu, V. Anitha, Bandaru Satyanarayana, PVGR Naidu (Ganababu) and few others of TD leaders expressed their condolence.
Expressing that the sudden demise of the educationalist as a great loss to the state of Andhra Pradesh, the TD leaders said that it is an irreplaceable loss to the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Vizagites have also lost an iconic visionary and great educationalist, they told mediapersons here.
