Hyderabad: Family disputes forced a pregnant woman to end her life along with her two daughters in Jogulamba Gadwala district.
The woman, Sunitha, along with her daughters — Amrutha and Vaishnavi —jumped into a canal. Vaishnavi’s body was fished out, while a search is on to recover the other bodies.
According to the police, Sunitha, 25, was married to Rajesh, a resident of East Doudharpally village. They were staying along with Rajesh’s parents and brothers. On Monday, the couple had an argument over a petty issue. Sunitha, who was pregnant, was depressed due to the fight. She jumped into the canal along with the two kids.
By evening, Vaishnavi’s body was recovered, while a searching is on to locate the bodies of Sunitha and Amrutha.
