Kadapa: Srinivasulu Reddy was convicted in another murder, says police

According to sources, the police has filed a case of suspicious death and registered an FIR under Section 174 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

Though three of the accused, Gangireddy, Krishna Reddy and Prakash, have completed their 90-day remand, the police has failed to submit a chargesheet. They were released on bail on July 27.

According to sources, the police has filed a case of suspicious death and registered an FIR under Section 174 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

There is an obvious difference in the handwriting in the two suicide notes found beside the body, said officials. Doubts are being expressed in police circles about this death, with sources saying it could be a case of murder.

The police has sent the two letters to a forensic science laboratory for investigation.

Srinivasulu Reddy was previously found guilty in another murder case and was sentenced to prison and had a rowdysheet against his name at the Simhadripuram police station.

Vivekananda Reddy, an uncle of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and brother of the late Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, was murdered in the middle of the AP election campaign.

The TD and the YSRC accused each other of committing the murder.

Vivekananda Reddy had purportedly written a letter accusing his driver of threatening him. His bloodied body was found in the bathroom of his house. The murder was also linked to rivalry over some land in Bengaluru.
