All government colleges in 31 district of Telangana set to get mid-day meals

Hyderabad: All the government colleges in the 31 districts of the state are going to get the mid-day meals, said education minister Kadiyam Srihari in a committee meeting attended by all the ministers, Etela Rajender, Harish Rao, Indrakaran Reddy, Jogu Ramanna at the Secretariat on Friday. The ministers have tasted the food which will be provided to the students. Akshyapatra, which is taking care of the process, was asked to give a review report about the scheme.

It was asked to give the report regarding the details of the nutritious values of the food and the menu that they are serving and the costs involved.

Beside this, a trial run is scheduled to be conducted before implementing the scheme statewide. Many officials also took part in the meeting.
