IIMK inaugurates new batches
Kozhikode: Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIMK) inaugurated the 23rd batch of Post Graduate Program and 13th batch of Fellow Programme in Management on Wednesday.
The event was held in the presence of Vice Admiral Anil Kumar Chawla, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command who was also the chief guest, academia and students of IIMK.
The ceremony began with an invocation and traditional lamp lighting by IIMK director Prof. Debashis Chatterjee, Mr Chawla and others.
Delivering the inaugural address Mr Chawla congratulated students for securing admission to the prestigious programme at IIMK.
He underscored the importance of brilliant leadership skills and qualities to be emulated by the young generation of managers in the country as its future is in their hands.
IIM Kozhikode currently has 76 full time faculty members and the new batch includes 16 students for the FPM (Ph.D.) programme and 485 students for the PGP (MBA) programme.
