Tamil Nadu: 808 medical seats allotted on day 2 of MBBS counselling
Chennai: A total of 808 medical seats were allotted on day two of MBBS counseling for seats under state quota on Tuesday. While 719 seats were allotted to candidates through general counselling for MBBS courses in government colleges, 59 students received seat in self-financing college.
29 candidates were granted seats in ESIC College in K K Nagar, while one seat was allotted for BDS course in the state. A total of 828 candidates were called for counselling, of which 813 of them attended and 15 were absent. Two candidates were announced to be in-eligible for admissions, while a student opted out of the counseling.
The applications of total 25,417 students were accepted out of 28,067 applications received for state government quota seats to MBBS/BDS courses.
