The accused, Gowhar Azeez Khomani (A5), Mohammed Taariq Anjum (A6), Kamal Hasan (A12) and Mohammed Kafeel Akhtar (A13), have decided to admit their crime after their bargaining petition was rejected by the NIA Special Court on Tuesday.

The accused, who have been lodged in in the Parappana Agrahara Central Prison for the last six years, had filed the petition under Section 265 of the CrPC seeking concession in punishment. But the court dismissed their petition citing technical grounds following which the accused told the court that they were ready to admit their crime. The accused were arrested for providing local support to the main accused to carry out the three blasts in the stadium ahead of an IPL league match between Royal Challengers and Mumbai Indians on April 17, 2010 in which 15 persons were injured.
