Hyderabad: Legal metrology officials made a surprise checks at Dirty Martini kitchen and cocktail bar and booked cases against the management for certain violations including allegedly serving less liquor than ordered.
The bar was allegedly charging 10 per cent extra as service charge and billing customers more than double the maximum retail price on an energy drink.
According to the legal metrology, three cases were registered on against the Dirty Martini management. While the first two was for levying service charge and selling the energy drink at Rs 275 against the MRP of Rs 99, the third one was for selling liquor 15-17 ml less liquor for every 60 ml ordered by the customer.
Following a complaint from a ‘Know Your Rights’ activist, the legal metrology officials conducted the surprise check.
