Hyderabad: An 18-year-old boy went missing at Meerpet two weeks after being questioned by his parents for not securing a better rank in Eamcet.
Saikrishna’s father Nagesh Kumar lodged a complaint on Sunday and claimed that two weeks ago, he had questioned his son about his poor performance and that he had been upset since then. On Saturday night, Saikrishna went to bed as usual, but when his parents went to wake him up on Sunday morning, he was missing.
After searching, they found a letter written in Telugu, which said, “Dear parents do not worry, I am leaving home for higher studies, do not search for me.” After reading the letter, they searched for him at all possible places and inquired with his friends too, but in vain.
They told cops that he was wearing a brown coloured check shirt and blue coloured jeans and is carrying a Samsung Galaxy Grand-2 mobile without a sim. The police have registered a missing case and a search is on.
