TSEAMCET was tricky, direct
Hyderabad: The first day of the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TSEAMCET) seems to have gone smooth for the students who took the test in the first session on Friday.
A majority of students agreed that the test was moderately difficult this time, although some said that the mathematics session was time-consuming.
The Physics section, on the other hand, was relatively straightforward with very basic formulae-based questions that did not challenge the students a great deal. The chemistry section also mostly contained direct fact-based questions other than the usual balancing equations and chemical reactions.
T. Kiran Kumar, a student, said that the test was moderately difficult as most of the questions were direct and only some were tricky, and added that it was mathematics that took up the most amount of time and was slightly more tricky compared to the other sections.
The paper consists of 80 questions in the mathematics section, 40 in physics and 40 in chemistry. Around 23,543 students appeared for the exam.
