Telangana Agricultural varsity to add 100 seats
Hyderabad: Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) has decided to enhance around 100 seats in the BSc agriculture course. Accordingly a resolution was passed by the 10th Academic Council meeting of the university on the same on Friday.
Earlier, there were 563 seats in the 100 BSc (hons) agricultural courses. Now the count is 663 with the increased seats. Also, the B.Sc (hons) community course seats were increased to 75 from 59 seats for the academic year 2019-20.
The other resolutions include the department of home science name changed to community science and the university library’s name changed to knowledge management center. The new gold medal sponsored in the name of Professor Mohammed Taskeen AliNiaze Gold medal by their children who settled in US, which will be awarded to the student who secured highest grade in the M.Sc agriculture course.
