St Joseph’s tops Calicut University ‘Wayanart’

WAYANAD: St Joseph’s College, Devagiri, Kozhikode topped the list with 44 points when 46 items were completed on the first day of ‘Wayanart’, the 3-day Inter-zone Kalolsav of Calicut University which began at St Mary’s College, Sulthan Bathery, on Saturday.

Farook College, Kozhikode is at the second slot with 41 points while Gover-nment Victoria Coll-ege, Palakkad is at the third slot with 37 points. In the patriotic song competition held on Friday St Joseph’s College, Devagiri and Farook College shared first prize.  It is for the si-xth consecutive year St Josephs retains the first prize in patriotic song competition.

 

 St Joseph’s came with the song dedicating it to CRPF soldier VV Vasanthkumar, the martyr of Phulwama terror attack. Chembai Memorial Music College, Palakkad bagged second prize whereas Christ College, Irinjalakkuda finished third.
