SSLC results: Ernakulam first with 99.12 per cent

Thiruvananthapuram: While Ernakulam district came first with 99.12 percent students clinching eligibility for higher studies, Wayanad, which is 18.5 percent tribal, has the least pass percentage of 93.87 in the SSLC exam results announced on Thursday. As many as 2435 students in Malappuram education district scored A+ for all subject, which is the highest in the state.

Of the education districts, Muvattupuzha with 99.87 percent has the highest pass percentage, and Wayanad recorded the lowest. The schools which have 100 percent pass percentage are 1565 this year against 1174 last year. PKMMHSS Edarikode in Malappuram district earned the distinction for having seated the maximum number of candidates for the school final -2422.

Government HSS, Kattachakonam, Thiruvananthapuram district had the least number of candidates. There were only two students to take the exam. Results of higher secondary and vocational higher secondary exams were published on the website and the mobile apps as soon as the announcement. The app Saphalam 2018 is available for download on Google Play Store.

Results are also available on the mobile app 'PRD Live', of the public relations department downloadable from Google Play Store. Apart from individual results, the websites and the mobile apps contained an analysis of results at school, educational district, and revenue district levels, info-graphics, subject-based analysis and study reports. The data can be accessed directly by clicking the ‘Results Analysis’ link without logging on to the website.
