Pawan Kalyan vows two saris for free every year
Vijayawada: The Jana Sena released its election manifesto on Wednesday with 96 promises. Last month, the JS released its seven missions with a few promises and has now released a detailed manifesto with 96 promises for all sections of the society.
The JS is offering Rythu Saayam, Rythu Raju, Rythu Rakshana Bharosa and other schemes to farmers in the manifesto.
It promises to offer Rs 8,000 per acre per annum to all farmers, Rs 5,000 per month social security pension to farmers, tenant farmers, fishermen and weavers of the age of 58 years, opportunity zones to farmers in all districts, Rs 5,000 crore for a world-class grain and fruit global market in the Godavari basin, crop-wise warehouses and food processing facilities in every mandal of AP state.
Mr Kalyan promises to turn Rayalaseema into Sowbhagya Rayalaseema by sharing water from various rivers with the Rayalaseema region. Industrial units in public and private sectors will be started in Rayalaseema. A special development plan for north AP with interlinking of rivers, construction of new reservoirs, fishing jetties, harbours, tourism clusters and a modern agriculture system was announced.
The JS promises free education up to PG level with free bus and railway passes to all students and a free canteen for college students. Free laptops will be given to students at the junior college level. There will be one fee per year for all competitive exams in the state. Interestingly, two saris will be gifted to every woman under the Aadapaduchu Kanuka every year and 33 per cent political reservations offered under women’s empowerment and safety.
