MLA to help find solution to MPM crisis
BHADRAVATI: Local MLA M.J. Appaji Gowda has said he will hold talks with leaders of all parties to find solutions to the Mysuru Paper Mills (MPM) crisis. Speaking to mediapersons, after meeting the agitating workers who are on a dharna here he said, he would raise the issue in the Assembly session and fix an appointment with the leaders of all parties. He asked the office-bearers of MPM Workers Association to come to Bengaluru for the proposed meeting.
MPM Workers Association President C.S. Shivamurthy said, a delegation of workers led by MLA Appaji will meet leaders of all parties in Bengaluru and seek their support to find solutions to the MPM crisis. In the first phase, the delegation of workers would meet leaders of all parties. Later, all the workers would stage a dharna in Bengaluru to put pressure on the government. The MPM management has stated that it had taken safety measures to reduce the pollution level.
