MALAPPURAM: Former SFI state secretary A. N. Shamseer has been elected as the new state president of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI). Current state secretary M. Swaraj has been re-elected for a second consecutive  term. P. Biju is the new treasurer. The 13th state conference of DYFI that concluded in Tirur on Thursday elected 89-member state committee unanimously.
