SCR makes Moula Ali an Adarsh' station
Hyderabad: The Moula Ali station in the city has been upgraded into an ‘Adarsh’ station by the South Central Railway by improving passenger amenities at a cost of Rs 3.5 crore. Ten trains halt every day at the station which is used by about 2,500 passengers.
The façade of the station building and the waiting room for passengers has been improved.
Parking facilities for physically challenged passengers have been provided along with non-slippery walkway from the station to the parking space. Ramps for constructed for senior citizens and physically challenged travellers. The SCR has installed modern signboards, pay and use toilets and made adequate drinking water arrangements. It has also improved the booking and inquiry offices.
A foot overbridge is being constructed at an estimated cost of '1.6 crore. With this, SCR has a total of 67 Adarsh stations.
