Companies will have dedicated desks in T-hub2
Hyderabad: T-Hub Phase-2 will allow companies to set up their dedicated desk in the new building instead of running a three-month programme along with start-ups as is done now.
There are innovation labs of Facebook, PWC, Qualcomm, Samsung Digital Academy, HSBC, UTC and Cisco-Quantela in the existing T-Hub building. So far, 16 corporate partnerships have been entered into. Mr Ravi Narayan, T-Hub CEO noted that T-Hub was trying to enlarge the conversation which was already started with companies to set up centres of excellence.
The T-Hub Phase 2 building is under construction and is likely to be operational in the latter half of 2019. In this phase, to be able to partner with the company, start-ups need to be in the growth stage. Larger companies are coming to T-Hub and they are looking for mature start-ups to invest in. If the start-up is young, its business is at an early stage and its product is not available. Entrepreneurs of early stage start-ups will have to co-ordinate with the TS Innovation Cell.
