Hyderabad: To facilitate work on the junction of the pipeline at the Ghanpur reservoir, which is part of the Godavari drinking water supply project phase-I, the Water Board will be imposing a shutdown for 12 hours from 8 am on Sunday, February 7.
This will result in water not being supplied to the following areas: Erragadda, Yellareddyguda, Vengal Rao Nagar, Yousufguda, Somajiguda, Venkatagiri, Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills, Borabanda, SPR Hills, Sanathnagar, Prakashnagar, Kukatpally, KPHB, Bala Nagar, Bhagyanagar, Balajinagar, Yellammabanda, Moosapet, Hasmathpet, Hydernagar and Nizampet, Allwyn Colony, Jagadgirigutta, Adarshnagar, Shapurnagar, Roda Mistry Nagar, HMT Colony, Sooraram, Chinthal, Jeedimetla, Subashnagar, Hafeezpet, Chandanagar, Miyapur, RC Puram, Ashoknagar, Bolaram, Seriligampally, and Madhapur.
The Water Board in a release has requested residents to use water conservatively to avoid inconvenience.
