Hyderabad: The Jeedimetla police booked a case on Wednesday against 10 BJP-TD workers for allegedly attacking a local TRS leader.
The victim, Janardhan Reddy, alleged that BJP and TDP men came to his house at Bhagath Singh Nagar on Tuesday and attacked him. Mr Reddy said the attackers dragged him out from his house and beat him up. Police said that BJP workers went to Janardhan Reddy’s house after hearing that he was distributing money to voters.
Jeedimetla inspector A. Chandra Shekhar said a case for assault and criminal intimidation was booked against the suspects.
No arrest has been made by the police in connection with this case so far.
