Hyderabad: The Telangana state government has issued orders sanctioning 13 new posts in the Chief Minister’s Office including one officer on special duty for irrigation.
Approval was given for two other officers on special duty, chief public relations officer, three public relations officers, two personal secretaries’ three additional secretaries and an assistant secretary to the Chief Minister.
The Telangana state government said these were temporary posts with effect from December 13, and would be co-terminus with the tenure of the Chief Minister. Irrigation expert Sridhar Despande will be appointed as OSD in the CMO to look after the irrigation department. In the previous government he worked as OSD with former irrigation minister T. Harish Rao.
