Government will go to doorstep of people: Nara Lokesh
Vijayawada: Minister for PR & RD, IT N. Lokesh said the officials would take the government to the doorstep of the people and solve their problems. He was speaking at the Janmabhoomi-Maa Vooru programme held in Poranki on Wednesday. Mr Lokesh said real-time governance by the TD was yielding good results. He spoke of the 1100 call centre and the services provided by it.
Reminding that the state started its journey without an office or power supply to the villages, the minister said now, villages are being supplied power for 24 hours. Mr Lokesh explained about Pattiseema and its benefits. Despite deficit Budget, the government implemented loan waiver to farmers and Dwcra groups.
He announced that 10-star rating will be given to the villages, basing on the power supply, toilets, solid waste management, fibre grid connection etc. He said that his responsibility was to facilitate all the villages with power, water, and other facilities. By June, 2018, all villages will get drinking water through pumps in every house, he promised.
